Anglican 4th Day: Anglican 4th Day is a weekend retreat on Christian living and responsibility. It is both intense and fun. Knitters And Stitchers: We gather together to knit, crochet or quilt while visiting with one another, encouraging each other and teaching newcomers or beginners these crafts. Thus far we have created over 75 prayer shawls, baby blankets and lap throws. We also knit and crochet helmet liners for our troops serving overseas.We welcome anyone gifted in knitting, crocheting, or quilting. This minisistry is one of prayer and care for others started by Gail Tuck in September of 2008. Meet on every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm - 8:30pm in the church office building. Stephen Ministry: Stephen Ministry is a program that equips lay persons to provide one on one Christian care to those experiencing difficult circumstances and needs in their lives. Seniors: We welcome all Seniors to come and join us for the fun.The Seniors Group (Male and Female) gather for a pot luck luncheon on the fourth Friday of every month. We stay involved with the Christ the King community by closely supporting the Children's Ministry and help to assemble the monthly newsletter. Contact Peg Wallace, 352-694-7728.
Centering Prayer: Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of prayer in which we experience God’s presence within us. Contact Person: Gus Galloway: 237-5552. Mondays—5:30pm in the Prayer Room.
Daughters Of The Holy Cross: The vision of the Order of the Daughters of The Holy Cross is to gather Anglican women and girls into a nurturing and empowering community called to be servants of Jesus as He unites and builds up His Body, The Church. Daughters Of The King: This is an Order of women who take a vow of prayer and service. One of their ministries is to provide receptions for funerals. They accompany the priest every Wednesday to visit our parish shut-ins. They meet the 2nd Monday of the month in the office building at 6:30 pm. Contact Mollie Zell 237-5001.
