Grace School Highlights—The school will be recognizing Dr. Dan Patton as he prepares to embark on his new journey at 8:30am on May 22nd in the Grace School Courtyard. Please visit us on May 24th for a drop-in between 11:30am and 1:30pm for “Friends of Grace” open house day. We are located on Hwy 475 across from Belle Chase Community at 4410 SE 3rd Avenue. Come and take a tour of the school or just visit with us. Finally, the K-5 graduation will be held on Thursday, May 31st at 9:00am in our sanctuary and the 8th grade graduation on June 1st at 5:30pm also in our sanctuary.
Baptism Class—Baptism Class will be held this afternoon at 2:00pm in the Office Building. Baptism will be on Sunday, June 3rd.
Senior Luncheon—Come join us for fellowship on Friday, May 25th at noon in the Office Building. Karen Reichard will join us with Vacation Bible School information for the June Meeting. Bring a dish to share if you wish.
Attention Parents—Next Sunday, May 27th there will not be Children’s Church. There will be Junior Kid’s Church. Because of the length of the Ordination Service, children ages 7 and under may go to room 104 for a movie.
Wednesday Morning Bible Study and Noon Healing Service—The bible study and noon healing service on Wednesday, May 30th, will be held in the Great Hall in the Office Building. The Grace School students will be rehearsing for their graduation that day.
Attention High School Graduates—Sunday, June 3rd, we will recognize our graduating seniors at the 8:50 service. Please let the office know if your son or daughter is graduating and what their plans are after graduation.
Very Important Vacation Bible School Meetings—The meetings will take place in the Office Building. June 5th, 6:00pm Registration and 7:00pm Market Place; June 7th, 6:00pm Tribe Leaders and 7:00pm Drama; June 12th 6:00pm Tribe Leaders and 7:00pm Drama; June 14th 6:00pm Registration and 7:00pm Market Place.
Shoeboxes—The item of the month for May is flashlights. We are also collecting washcloths, balls, small toys and socks. Please deposit your pocket change in the shoebox for shipping costs.
Mission Funding Tree—We are putting together a “Mission Funding Tree” that will be on display in the lobby for the month of June. We have formed the El Hogar Dental Teams. The two five-person teams need our support for all the work they will accomplish meeting the needs of the children and faculty in Honduras.
