Connection to Africa – And the Rest of the World, too
For Christ the King, it means that our clergy serves under a Bishop in Biharamulo, Tanzania, Africa. It also means that we will often dedicate some of our resources to help the partners in that region of Africa, but also other ministries, both local and around the world. At our inception, Christ the King made the decsion to contribute 25 percent of our tithes and offerings to local and distant ministry organizations, including the African diocese. We believe the church is an international body and we are committed to doing our part to participate in what God is doing around the world. The ministries we support are listed in “Helping the Community”.
Hebrews 13:15-16: Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. (16) Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
